The most important thing to remember when going bald is the many different ways to wear your facial hair.

It's not just shaving it all off or growing it out long enough to cover up the top of your head. Instead, you can opt for something in between, like a medium beard on top with short stubble on the sides and chin area.

Alternatively, you can grow out your facial hair, but keep it trimmed in various styles so that you still look good without having too much hair covering up your face (which makes it seem like an even bigger bald spot).

Short-medium beard if you still have some hair

If you're balding at the crown of your head but still have a lot of hair in front, go for a short to medium beard.

A short-medium beard will give the impression that you don't need to shave all over to keep your face from looking like a cue ball.

If you're balding at the crown of your head and have no hair on top, go for a full beard. A full beard covers up all areas that might look unruly or bare when there's no hair on top and helps balance out your face's shape by adding weight to it.

You can make it seem fuller if you have a short beard by trimming it so the sides are more concise than the middle. This will ensure that a long, thin chin strap doesn't dominate your face. You can also trim your beard to shorter the top than the sides, which will give an illusion of fullness.

Starting to bald? Go with a short beard and let it grow as your hairline recedes.

If you have a gradual hair loss, start with a short beard. A short beard will allow you to see how much hair you lose and adjust accordingly.

If your baldness happens gradually, as many men experience, start with a short beard and let it grow as your hairline recedes. You can then experiment with different styles until you find the best one for your face shape and desired look.

Some men prefer to keep their beards long despite receding hairlines or thinning beards. This is fine too!

If you choose this route for yourself (or someone else), don't neglect proper grooming techniques such as trimming and shaping so that the facial hair looks healthy from all angles—including up close where the patches might otherwise show themselves without warning!

Want to look younger and thinner? Try a circle beard.

A circle beard is another tremendous good look for bald men.

A circle beard is a short beard that goes around both sides of your mouth and along your chin line.

The round shape helps to soften the jawline, making you appear younger and less intimidating than other styles.

Men with round faces often look good with square-shaped beards.

The round face is a versatile shape that can complement various beard styles. The square-shaped beard, for example, is an excellent choice for men with round faces: it softens the roundness of your face and makes it look more masculine at the same time.

Losing your hair is not the end. It's a start.

There are many great ways to style your facial hair when you're going bald or already have no hair on top of your head. You don't have to shave it off just because it's starting to go on top!

When we think of beards, we often imagine a man with full, thick hair on top of his head. However, you can style facial hair when balding or with no hair on top of your head (or both!) and still achieve a fantastic look!

Balding indeed gives you fewer possibilities to have your own unique style, but it doesn't mean you can't have one. Give your look its own unique style with great facial hair.
